There Were Never Such Devoted Sisters Shawl (White Christmas Inspired)
Christmas is a wonderful time of year in the Almon household; every Thanksgiving, we put up our Christmas decorations, have a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner, and watch the 1954 Irving Berlin classic, White Christmas. We’ve watched the movie so many times that renditions of its show-stopping numbers can be heard in the house year-round. This year, we thought we’d show our love for this movie by releasing a four-pattern White Christmas inspired collection.
This shawl is inspired by the gorgeous fans from Betty and Judy’s Sisters number (and Phil and Bob use them too in their spoof of the number). This circular shawl utilizes beads to create the shape of the fans and then finishes with a ruffled edge that reminds me of the feathers that make up the fan.
Grab your yarn, your beads, and your needles. There were never such devoted sisters! Happy Knitting!
There Were Never Such Devoted Sisters Shawl (White Christmas Inspired) is the third pattern in our 4 pattern White Christmas Inspired Collection.
